Acclaimed Bharatnatyam dancer Dr. Swati Daithankar and her husband Dr. Dhananjay Daithankar, who is a well-known Santoor player and a disciple of Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, narrated their 22-year journey in the inaugural program of ‘Bond and Beyond’ – a Journey of Musical Togetherness’, by sharing anecdotes and memories stating from their first project Rajas Sukumar. The highlight of the program was the breathing performance by Dr. Swati and her troupe, which was well applauded by a capacity crowd at the Tilak Smarak Mandir on Sunday.
Neeraj Apte moderated the program, where the couple’s love for their respective arts, was well completed by each other during the projects, which were globally performed.
