- Out of 60 CSR short films, 29 films were showcased at Socio Corpo CSR Film Festival.
- 19 films were awarded under various categories
PUNE: Dr. K.H. Sancheti, Founder Director, and Chief Orthopaedic of Sancheti Hospital was speaking during the Socio Corpo CSR Film Festival, which is India’s first and largest international CSR film festival held at Hotel Ramee Grand, Pune in presence of Adv. Chetan Gandhi, Founder Director of Socio Corpo India Pvt Ltd, Satish Kondalkar, Director Flair Network System and Saraswati Mehta, Director of Socio Corpo India Pvt Ltd. The Jury members included Dr. Leena Borude of Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Pune, and Pradeep Nagori, VC, Edelweiss Wealth Management.
“There’s a need to organize more such Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Film Festivals and promote CSR films across other cities in India. It will encourage more social work among the masses. It’s a matter of pride that about 29 companies have come forward to participate in the festival and lend their support to the films. We should promote it on a larger scale so that more companies get involved in societal work,” said Dr. K.H. Sancheti, Founder Director, and Chief Orthopaedic of Sancheti Hospital.
About 29 social films were showcased out of 60 films during the festival. Out of that 19 films were felicitated and awarded under various categories.
The awarded films include Poultry Litter Management under Best Waste Management film, Vultures of Lalitpur and Zero Waste Campus under Best Environment films, (Special Jury Mention), Parwaaz (Special Jury Mention) and Mahakhadi under Best Skill Development films, Apni Sakhi under Best Human Rights Documentary, Panaah (Special Jury Mention) and A Bridge of Life for Education under Best Social film, Jal Tarang under Best Social Transformation film, Sudha Paper Bag Project under Best Community Development CSR Film, Bra under Best Health Awareness Social film, Mission Impossible under Best Health Documentary, Back to School under Best Literacy Awareness film, Khidki under Best Social Community Project, Transforming Rural India under Best Girl Education Documentary, Currency under Best Social Message film, Anokha Dhaaga and Haqdarshak under Best Women Empowerment Documentary and Aayushi under Best Social Awareness film.
Adv Chetan Gandhi said,
“The Festival provides a platform to business groups to showcase their innovation in visual art forms. We want all business magnates and NGOs to come forward to create a platform for CSR activities.”
The festival was organized by Chitale Bandhu Mithaiwale, Adinath Agro Foods Pvt. Ltd, Airtech Engineering & Solution, Nozzle Express, and Silicon Infotech.?
