INDIA: Goa is the most preferred destination for start-ups across industries. Its economic growth is driven by the strong performance of its industrial sectors such as tourism, fishing, agriculture, and pharmaceuticals. The state has a great infrastructure for efficient logistics. It has a huge potential for units in engineering goods, auto-components, agro-based industries, and an excellent lifestyle.
Recognizing the industry-friendly atmosphere in the state, the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce (IACC) is organizing a Capacity Building Program on ‘How to Boost Exports of Engineering Products from Goa’ in association with the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Goa State Industries Association (GSIA), Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI) and Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC).
The program will be graced by dignitaries from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, District Industries Centre (DIC), Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Ltd. (ECGC), Export Promotion Council India (EEPC), Micro, Small & Medium Enterprise Development Institute Goa, Export Promotion Councils & Chamber of Commerce.
The participants will be business leaders representing the MSME sector, trade and industry, startups, entrepreneurs, and other influencers.
We trust this initiative will provide a much-needed direction for the new and existing MSMEs of Goa, a roadmap to export to the International markets, especially to the US.
