Pune Based Artist showcases in a Unique Open Studio Concept for Art Lovers

PUNE: Reena Soni, a Mixed Media Artist, recently concluded a successful open studio in Pune for art connoisseurs of the city. A concept that is fairly common in the US, but unique to the city as it gives an opportunity to art lovers to meet and interact with the artist in her own creative space and discover distinctive, one-of-a-kind pieces of art. 

The 3-day open studio event that was held at her studio in Koregaon Park brought in art lovers, interior designers, architects, gallery owners, and others of the likes who visited and appreciated the vast breadth of work presented. 

With over 300 pieces, each piece is unique and as such, comes with its own story. Reena’s work spans from symbolism series’ to pure abstracts with work that aims to touch the soul and invoke emotions of the human mind. In addition, Reena is a Certified Zentangle Teacher, a form of art meditation for all age groups which promotes concentration and creativity but at the same time increases personal well-being.

Art has the power to transform, illuminate, educate, inspire and motivate”, smiles Reena, who began her artistic pursuit of self-learning through books, workshops, printmaking as well as pen and ink at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
