Free Vaccination Drive organized by The Lexicon Schools for Students aged 15 to 18 years

PUNE: The Lexicon Schools organized a Vaccination Drive in collaboration with PMC corporator Mukta Arjun Jagtap. The drive was organized on February 7th at the Lexicon Kids, Viman Nagar campus. Students in the age group of 15 to 18 years were given their first dose of COVID-19 Vaccination.

Mukta Arjun Jagtap along with Deepti Sharma, Director, Lexicon Kids, and Aditi Thakker, Principal, Lexicon Kids, Viman Nagar, inaugurated the vaccination camp.

The drive was conducted while maintaining the COVID-19 safety protocols. The sanitization of the campus was done before and after the drive took place. The students were duly registered with the help of the staff and teachers at The Lexicon Kids. More than 200 students from the Viman Nagar area received their first dose of the vaccine.

 “The vaccination drive was an important initiative taken by the school to support Ms. Mukta Arjun Jagtap. Since schools have opened up, it is important to vaccinate children for their safety and well-being. The response we received was incredible and we are grateful to Ms. Mukta Arjun Jagtap for helping us in organizing this vaccination drive” said Nasir Shaikh, CEO, The Lexicon Group of Institutes MultiFit.

“I was receiving constant requests from parents in Viman Nagar and Wadgaonsheri to organize a vaccination camp for the kids. We approached Mr. Sharma and Ms. Deepti Sharma to organize the vaccination drive at the Lexicon Kids, Viman Nagar campus. They were supportive enough and made the best possible arrangements for organizing this camp. It was a successful drive and we vaccinated more than 200 children.” said PMC corporator, Ms. Mukta Arjun Jagtap

The Lexicon Schools opened this year on February 1st, 2022 for in-person classes as per the communications and guidance from the Government of Maharashtra. For the safety and betterment of the teachers and students, all the safety protocols are being followed at the campuses of all the schools.
