NEW JERSEY, US: On Oct 2 a Cultural event for the Community for Navaratri festival by Josh musical & Gandhian society of NJ was celebrated with fun-filled traditional Raas & Garbas. about 225 ppl participated in this community hall of Hitesh Bhai Thakar at Edison NJ. Enthusiastic and energetic public of all ages participated in this cultural event. Middlesex county supported the event as a cultural open event for the public.
Light refreshments were served by Pinaka foods and Chand Palace restaurant of Piscataway which was enjoyed by all. Varsha Joshi who is a popular and versatile artist of the USA entertained the Garba dancers with her 3 n 2 talli garbas/Songs n dandiya and Sanedo n Kaka Bapa style songs and dancing with all from 8 pm to midnight.
A good amount of donations was generated for their noble causes with help of this exciting theme of Navaratri Cultural event. Gandhian Society hopes to continue such community public events to peruse their humanitarian deeds. Varsha Sunil Joshi hopes to raise one ambulance money to donate.
