Today they announced “Utkarsh’, an initiative to benefit UPSC aspirants unable to afford private coaching. Under the initiative, 2 winners from each of 500 colleges/universities who are likely to participate, will receive a preparatory course for free. Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi; Gargi college, Delhi;  SKN Sinhgad College of Technology & Science, Mumbai; AISSMS Institute of Management – Pune; Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University – Pune & D. Y. Patil College of Engineering – Pune, have already enrolled for the initiative. The interested colleges and institutes will have to send in nominations, by registering on https://ufaber.typeform.com/to/UodPh9fU

This October, 2021. Nominated students will have to appear for an aptitude test followed by a group discussion and interview. The top two scorers from each college will win the sponsorship.

Announcing the initiative, Rohit Jain, Founder and CEO, uFaber, said, “We’ve observed that, for a myriad of reasons including finance, good students at even leading colleges & universities who are likely to do well in UPSC if attempted, don’t do so. We chose to go through colleges so there is an effective filtering mechanism to ensure only the right and best candidates benefit since these institutions have an intimate knowledge of each candidate. Happy to be playing our role in getting some of the best minds to appear successfully for UPSC.”
