Navneet Munot, MD & CEO, HDFC Asset Management Company honored with the prestigious Mumbai Ratna Awards 2021

PUNE: Mr. Navneet Munot, MD & CEO, HDFC Asset Management Company has been honored with the Mumbai Ratna Awards 2021 for his stellar and noteworthy contribution towards the growth and development of Mumbai Metropolis, and the social fabric of India’s commercial capital. The award was presented by Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra. Mr. Munot is the first leader from the mutual fund industry to be felicitated with this prestigious award.

Chairman Emeritus of Tata Group, Ratan Tata, Godrej Group Chairman. Adi Godrej, Municipal Commissioner, Iqbal Singh Chahal, Vedanta Group Chairman, Anil Agarwal, construction leader Niranjan Hiranandani was among 31 eminent leaders conferred with the ‘Mumbai Ratna’ Awards in Mumbai.

The ‘Mumbai Ratna Awards’ are registered with the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India. The Mumbai Ratna Awards is given for exceptional service in various walks of life, and have been instituted by the Films Today Media, Nana Nani Foundation, and Enarr Group. The Award Ceremony was conducted at ‘The Raj Bhavan,’ Mumbai.

Public Prosecutor, Ujjwal Nikam, Dr. Gautam Bhansali, Manju Lodha, playback singer Udit Narayan, Bhajan singer Anup Jalota, CMD of Union Bank Rajkiran Rai, Dr. Shoma Ghosh, BSE MD Ashish Chouhan were among those who presented the Mumbai Ratna Awards.
